Carrie Brown

Licensed Massage Therapist

Carrie was born and raised in Spokane Valley, WA. A natural musician accomplished in piano and singing, Carrie is a shining star. Extremely empathetic, Carrie loves to laugh and enjoys the sweet side of life. Carrie lives with her fur baby, a Pomeranian mix, Maxine. Touch is Carrie’s love language. When young, she enjoyed giving and receiving massages from family members. Growing up with muscle tension in her upper back and neck, she found relief in massage. Having always been drawn to helping others, Carrie found that massage therapy was her preferred method of service. She became a licensed massage therapist in 2015 while living in Seattle. Watching loved one’s battle lymphoma, Carrie became fascinated with the lymphatic system, becoming certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Carrie now is certified in MLD for lymphedema, Post-op Recovery MLD, and licensed for Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage, Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Massage. With a love of learning new techniques and modalities, patients seek out Carrie for her customized approach, strong hands and joyful heart.

Dr. Hagerty

Lead Surgeon

Dr. Hagerty is a board-certified physician who has been practicing medicine since 2004. At his Spokane medical spa, his caring philosophy of making the “patient first” combined with his passion for detailed, medical excellence have made him a sought-after physician among the thousands of patients he has worked with.

Dr. Hagerty grew up in the Los Angeles area exposed to people, philosophies and cultures in all walks of life. After completing high school he served a two-year church mission in Kentucky. While working on his Bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University, he served as a laboratory instructor in anatomy, histology and pathology. He decided to pursue a career to become a college professor by enrolling in the Ph.D. program in Physiology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arizona on full scholarship.

His graduate work specialized in developing artificial blood vessels and wound healing, during which he discovered his passion for clinical medicine and treating patients. As a result, he completed his Master’s degree and entered medical school at the University of Arizona. After graduating from medical school he transitioned to Cleveland, Ohio where he completed residency in Emergency Medicine at the world-famous Cleveland Clinic Foundation and MetroHealth Medical Center. Fascinated by new technology and how it enhanced patient care, he remained there as faculty and completed a one-year fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound. Since then, Dr. Hagerty has taught clinical ultrasound to physicians at the national level and has been published in textbooks used around the world.

Ten years ago, Dr. Hagerty moved with his wife and three children to Spokane, Washington, where he has continued to work as an emergency physician. In addition to his clinical work in the emergency department he has served as the medical director for the local paramedic school, the medical director for local fire departments, and acts as a consultant in the medico legal community.

Recently, Dr. Hagerty’s extensive education and passion to learn have seamlessly dovetailed with the latest technology advances to bring patient treatment to new levels with HD Lipo. As an experienced and reputable physician, he has the skill and technique needed to achieve superior results and the bedside manner to put every person at ease. He is thrilled to help patients improve their confidence, have greater satisfaction and accomplish their physical goals at Premier Body and Laser.  

Sharon Wells

Master Aesthetic Injector

Sharon Wells, RN, is a Master Aesthetic Injector specializing in Botox, Dysport, Dermal Fillers, and Sculptra. With over 20 years of experience in aesthetics, Sharon has honed her skills in both dermatology and plastic surgery settings. She is proficient with all major brands of neurotoxins and dermal fillers.

For a decade, Sharon served as an injection trainer for Allergan and Galderma. She now trains for Prollenium, the makers of Revanesse Versa and Versa Lips. After relocating from Bellevue, Washington to Spokane two years ago, Sharon has worked as an independent contractor for various offices.

In 2024, Sharon joined Premier and will be part of our aesthetic injectable practice starting in August. She is passionate about delivering beautiful, natural enhancement results for her patients. We invite you to come in for a complimentary consultation and experience her expertise firsthand.

Tonya L. Cox (Stiner)

Licensed Massage Therapist

Tonya graduated from Apollo College in 2009. She began her career working at Mosaic Salon and Spa and Natural Rejuvenation. While at Natural Rejuvenation, Tonya was recognized for her talent and, in 2011, won Best Massage for Spokane, featured in the Inlander newspaper.

Her leadership and expertise also extended to the Washington State Massage Board, where she served a three-year term and received awards for her contributions. Over time, Tonya transitioned into medical massage, working alongside chiropractors in the Spokane area for more than 13 years, with additional specialization in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).

“I love what I do. I can’t see doing anything else,” Tonya shares. “My career is very fulfilling and rewarding. It brings me joy to see people happy, free from pain, and able to move again.”

Katie Filippini

Administrative Assistant​

Katie Filippini has been part of the Premier team for one year, bringing with her 15 years of medical office experience across a diverse background. She began her career in Memory Care as a CNA before moving into more administrative roles in both primary care and specialty practices, with experience in medical records and as a clinical support specialist. Katie is passionate about providing excellent patient care and advocating for patients every step of the way.

Born and raised in Spokane, Katie enjoys running and participates in several local running events. She also loves hiking, attending live entertainment such as concerts, musical theater, comedy shows, and sporting events, as well as spending time with her family and taking her dog, Lucy, on adventures.

Katie previously attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and served as activities chair before moving back to Spokane. She is currently a student at Grand Canyon University, pursuing a degree in Public Administration, where she has earned Honor Roll and Dean’s List recognition.

With over 11 years of experience in both aesthetic and dermatological skincare, Kathryn Hettick is a highly skilled Master Aesthetician known for her expertise in laser treatments—particularly laser hair removal for individuals with PCOS. Kathryn discovered her passion for laser technology early in her career and has since dedicated herself to helping clients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.

A graduate of the Washington Laser Institute, Kathryn received her master aesthetician certification with a concentrated focus on advanced laser therapies. Her background in both medical and cosmetic skin health allows her to deliver effective, personalized care with a compassionate, results-driven approach.

Whether addressing complex skin conditions or helping clients meet their beauty goals, Kathryn brings professionalism, precision, and genuine care to every treatment.

Annie Woehler

Medical Assistant

I am an energetic and positive person with strong work ethics and a true passion for helping others. In my thirties, I made the decision to go back to school (it’s never too late to better your life, right?) and worked hard to earn my Medical Assistant certificate as well as my Associate’s Degree. Since then, I have also become a registered Surgical Technician.

I have been in the medical field for the past 15 years and take great pride in providing exceptional patient care. People are my passion, and I have always had a heart for helping others.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my daughter and making the most of every day—whether that’s hiking, biking, swimming, cooking, crafting, or watching a movie. I truly enjoy life. Live, laugh, love!
